Lillian is finally set to premier in the UK, showing at the Ramsgate International Film & TV Festival on the 10th June at 12:45. Directed by BAFTA award winning actress Cathy Tyson with Cinematography by Chris Dodds. The film is screening as part of the Woman Filmmakers block, and will also screen again on the 11th June at 12:00 as part of the 'Best of UK Shorts' block.
The film is about Lillian Badder, one of the first women in to join the RAF. The film follows her story and work in order to create a recognition for black men and women working in the armed forces.
